ABSTRACT

In this article, we present a first study on how Covid-19 pandemic can influence fundamental essences and marketing developments. We argue that Covid-19 pandemic offers businesses an excellent opportunity to shift to real and honest marketing that can actually tackle urgent environmental and social challenges globally. We also explore some future paths for how the pandemic can affect consumer ethical decision-making. In our marketing discussion, we explain how we think that marketing is being carried out and how we expect this pandemic can change, and not just the marketing climate, but also how companies implement their marketing strategies. Marketing will be therefore very none form or other. Since, the day when humans first started trading what so ever it was that they first traded, marketing was there. Marketing was the stories they used to convince other humans to trade. Humans have come along way since then, and marketing has too. The way of execution of marketing is transformed and improved day to day. The evolution of internet in the world bringing lot more changes in the society specifically in living style of people. © 2022. Specialusis Ugdymas. All Rights Reserved.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of current study is to compile the findings of a number of studies and publications in the field of retailing and consumer behaviour to depict the factors through an in-depth analysis of the relevant literature to understand dynamics of a consumer’s buying behaviour towards online and offline shopping pre, during and post Covid 19 outbreak. To accomplish this, a review of the empirical studies related to the consumer online and offline shopping behaviour was performed. To carried out literature review a term-based search method was applied which was restricted to a certain date and specific online databases. Only peer-reviewed articles in English-language journals are considered for review. After an extensive literature review, 70 relevant articles are identified. The factors that influence consumers’ online and offline purchase intentions pre, during and post Covid 19 outbreak were classified according to their similarity and patterns. The literature was divided into numerous components effecting consumer buying behaviour and as a result, the study framework was designed using a content analysis of multiple research publications. The study presents a conceptual framework for exploring the factors that impact online and offline shopping behaviour. The limitation of this study is that this is a conceptual study with no real proof of the factors' connection. The number of articles found is limited due to the term-based search approach utilized. In this digital era, the consumer can interact with a retailer's digital storefront to purchase the products or services over the internet. With one click, customer can glance the information regarding the product and services. Today, Buyers are only a click away from comparing competitor’s products and attributes. All around, the world is witnessing the impact of digital marketing on consumer behaviour. This study makes an attempt to understand the impact on consumer behaviour specifically in the process of consumer buying behaviour by taking two areas of digital marketing i.e. online ad banner and digital word of mouth(D-WOM) in the form of user generated product reviews and ratings. The study has adopted a mixed method of study i.e. qualitative and quantitative study where in the qualitative study, in-depth interview of 20 participants has been taken in order to get the insight picture. In the quantitative study, a survey has been taken out on 800 sample size selected on the random basis after confirming the eligibility of the respondents. It has been concluded that the digital marketing makes some really good impact on the consumer behaviour with special reference to select cities. © 2022. Specialusis Ugdymas. All Rights Reserved.

ABSTRACT

Recent global pandemic compelled wearing masks as a precautionary measure for every human being. Considerable number of people neglected this simple precaution and risked their life. To prevent this type of negligence, we aim to design a technique to check if a person is putting on a mask or not. By efficiently recognizing a person without a mask, it is possible to warn that person to wear one. Facemask detection is majorly helpful in shopping malls, hospitals, offices, and crowded areas. Face images data in different angles of the persons can be captured by the surveillance cameras at the entry points of the area. Then the proposed algorithm extracts feature from these images and trains various machine learning models to classify the images with and without masks. There are several datasets available on the Kaggle platform. We intend to use machine learning algorithms named

ABSTRACT

The 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is rapidly spreading and it originates from Wuhan City of Hubei Province of China. Various preventive interventions or measures mainly social distancing, or physical distancing are taken to prevent the spread of a contagious disease. Many countries globally have announced lockdown, a state of isolation or restricted access instituted as a security measure in order to regain control. So the aim of this study is to evaluate the Perception of the general public on social distancing and lockdown. A cross sectional survey was conducted with a self structured questionnaire consisting of 15 questions about lockdown and social distancing and distributed to 100 general public members as a random sample of both gender through social networking sites. The survey had an overall response rate of 100 . The resulting data have been analysed using statistical software. The World Health Organization had notified that during previous such coronavirus outbreaks like SARS, human-to-human transmission occurred primarily through droplets, contacts, and fomites and the danger is amplified due to the lack of a vaccine and effective therapeutic agents against this novel virus so following social distancing and lockdown strictly is the best way to prevent transmission of the virus to others and to reduce the cases. Most of the participants(general public ) have positive opinion on following lockdown and social distancing for covid 19 pandemic and they are aware about the importance of lockdown and social distancing . © 2021, Universitatea de Vest Vasile Goldis din Arad. ABSTRACT

The patient zero is the first reported patient in a pandemic within a population, or the first documented patient incorporated in a pandemic study. Some scientists claimed that it’s important to examine primary cases. The term patient zero refers to the person identified as the first carrier of a communicable disease in an outbreak of related cases. They act as a symbol for initial actions that have major downstream consequences. The primary recorded victim of the Ebola infection was a 44 year old teacher named Mabola Lokela, who passed away on 8thSeptember 1970, 614 days after the clinical manifestation started. An infant in the Lewis House at 40 broad Road is viewed as the patient zero in the 1854 cholera outbreak in the Soho neighborhood of London.Pandemic is a disease outbreak that spreads across countries or continents and it affects more people and takes more lives than epidemic. It is an epidemic which takes place on a scale that crosses universal limits, generally influencing individuals on an overall scale. Detection of patient zero gives new insight to epidemiologists about the nature of first transmissions into a population.it’s important to find the first person infected with the pathogen.By knowing person’s history of patient zero we can determine the outbreak of the disease and the route of transmission.Discovering them might be significant in certain occasions, to know whether they are still alive and transmitting the infection. Identifying a “patient zero” is a rife with potential to provoke blame and scapegoating. Patient zero triggers a “desperate hunt” and is continuously giving expression to communal fears about dangerously reckless behaviour,Researchers have found people harbour negative attitudes towards Patient zero. The patient zero issue comprises of finding the source of a pandemic outbreak given, perceptions at a later time.Contemplating the patient zero issue we additionally tackle the issue of finishing and rectifying the observation to people and false test results.

ABSTRACT

Infectious diseases remain a major cause of human and animal morbidity and mortality leading to significant healthcare expenditure. However, enormous successes have been obtained against the control of major epidemic diseases, such as malaria, plague, leprosy and cholera, in the past. The vast terrains and extreme geo-climatic differences and uneven population distribution present unique patterns of distribution of viral diseases. Dynamic interplay of biological, socio-cultural and ecological factors, together with novel aspects of human-animal interphase, pose additional challenges with respect to the emergence of infectious diseases. The important challenges faced in the control and prevention of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases range from understanding the impact of factors that are necessary for the emergence, to development of strengthened surveillance systems that can mitigate human suffering and death. Viral pathogens are known to cause outbreaks that have epidemic and pandemic potential which would result in severe range of mortality and Health care expenditure on a scale depending on the pathogenicity of the virus. © 2020, Institute of Medico-Legal Publications.
